Oliver G. Graves age 81 of Laurel made his heavenly transition Thursday February 18,2026 at his residence. Mr. Graves was born to Gladys Harriet Walser and Floyd Graves Sr. January 5,1945 in Cleveland Ohio. Oliver was raised in the Quincy neighborhood and educated at John Hay High School in the Cleveland Public School district. Oliver went on to serve in the U.S Army doing two tours in the Vietnam War being recognized with several honors and medals for his service. Oliver was a proud veteran who went on to employment with the RTA and Lincoln Electric. He relocated to Las Vegas, NV and then to Laurel MS his last location. Oliver enjoyed various hobbies throughout his life which included golf, bowling, motor coaching and preparing meals for his family and everyone's lives he touched. He leaves to mourn his wife R. Ann Graves of Laurel' children; Deron Fisher, Danielle Carr, Hilary Fisher and Lauren Bogard. Grandchildren; Isaiah Johnson-Owens, Janelle Carr and Sonya Clark. April and her sons Angelo and Antonio Johnson. He also leaves his loving nieces and nephews to mourn their favorite Uncle. Oliver did not want any services after his transition and his family will be respecting his wishes as a final act of love. An inurnment will be at Biloxi National Cemetery.
